Projects

Throughout my education and professional career, I have been involved in some awesome projects shown below!

I am hosting and created a fully functional website that acts as Newell Painting Sacramento’s digital hub for all of our integrated marketing communications. As a digital marketer gaining experience in web development, this was an awesome opportunity to apply the technical skills I learned from my WWU Content/Web Development Certificate. I am hosting the website via Hostinger, and I created and manage it through WordPress.org and additional plug-ins and themes. This website has 14 webpages aimed at driving clients from awareness to knowledge, then knowledge to conversion. incorporated the brand elements (logo, fonts, and colors) from my brand kit into the website to make an integrated and cohesive experience for clients to recognize our brand.

A crucial step in creating a brand for a local business is to throw a vinyl wrap onto the company van. I tackled this project by creating wireframes to decide what key information should be included and where it will be located on the van. I began designing the mockup in Adobe Illustrator, then coordinated with a local vehicle wrap service to get the design onto the van. This was a satisfying project for me to manage, and coordinating with the service vendor gave me just as much insight into real-world marketing applications as designing and ideating the graphic!

This was the next step in my process to create an entire digital presence for Newell Painting Sacramento. As a digital marketer for this small business, I needed to create a brand kit to follow so that the content for NP is consistent across all of our platforms. I created a secondary logo with color, and a simple logo. I utilize this brand kit when I creating webpages on the website, created the van design, and creating promotional social media content!

For my personal brand, I planned a creative strategy to showcase my education and professional experience to future employers. This includes my creative strategy (positioning of brand, brand strategy, and brand elements), creative message strategy methods, and high-fidelity wireframes for business cards, portfolio website, and explainer video. At my digital marketing consulting gig for a local painting company, “Newell Painting Sacramento,” I ideated and designed the brand’s logo. I first began with sketches to get an idea about what direction the business owner wanted to go, then I created mockups in Adobe Illustrator. After a few iterations and design tweaks, I created the final logo to be used as the identity for the business. This was the first step in creating an entire digital presence from the ground up.

I executed a comprehensive SEO audit and site optimization for Sweet As Waffles, focusing on improving AI search discoverability and mobile responsiveness. By engineering a keyword-rich ‘Meal Recommendations’ engine and implementing structured meta-tags across the site’s technical infrastructure, I achieved a 15% lift in organic traffic via Google Search Console. This project eliminated UX friction and ensured the brand’s digital menu was fully optimized for both human users and search crawlers.

I led the social media management and content strategy for Sweet As Waffles during my 10-month internship from March 2025 to December 2025. I was responsible for writing the scripts for content based on marketing campaigns, filming and starring in content, and editing the content via CapCut. Throughout my position, I achieved 1.5 million views and hundreds of thousands of likes across Instagram and TikTok.

Ski To Sea

I organized and led our team in participating in Ski to Sea 2025 event which has over 500 teams of eight people competing in a relay race, while also being in charge of the S2S marketing campaign. This event taught me the importance of being a part of and participating in a community like Bellingham, and how to effectively run and plan event marketing!

Event Flyers and Graphics Via Canva
Sweet As Waffles

During my Sweet As Waffles Internship, I created many “on-brand” graphics and flyers using Canva and Adobe Illustrator to promote our marketing campaigns and new items on our menu. I learned the importance of even spacing, alignment of text and media, and other graphic design skills.

CSCI 202 Portfolio

In my CSCI 202 class at WWU, we were tasked with creating a website every week and showcasing it to the class. For the first website, I create a JSON file with the top 20 languages spoken around the world, and you can sort the languages in different ways, like “Total # of speakers” or “Year First Spoken”. For the second website, I created an Eliza Chatbot where the theme is the Sweet As Waffles Otter lope will ask questions to find you the “perfect waffle”.

Hat and T Shirt Merch
Sweet As Waffles

During my internship at Sweet As Waffles, I created t-shirt and hat designs for to match with our dinosaur collection. For the T-Shirt, we worked with a local screen printer to create L-XL size shirts. We had to make sure the M-XL shirt prints were much larger than the S-M sized shirts. For the hats, I got a patch website to embroider 200 of these patches, the created the hang tags for the side of the hats. We then got a local tailorer to sew the patch and tags onto the hat for the final product.

CSCI 102 Laser Print Website

At WWU, I took a class called “CSCI 102”, where we learned how to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create webpages. For my final assignment, I created a hypothetical e-commerce website where I would sell art. This experience helped further my knowledge in Web Development/Design.
